As it seems, I placed back a backup and did a second attempt. It works now. This could be due to new version of one of the following modules or plugins:
-T3
-JA PRODUCTS AND JoomlArt Advanced Custom Module.

OR

A different installation of order.

OR

Cache. (unlikely due to extensive tests on different systems, VPN’s etc.
