Hi,

New install of Joomla 1.6, install of newest version of JA Extensions Manager. But, when I try to open it through administration I get a blank page with:

Server error.

The website encountered an error while retrieving https://www.mywebsite.com:40022/administrator/index.php?option=com_jaextmanager. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

I have protected the admin section with https (certificate) , could it be that this is causing the problem?

Did you change the URL in the error code above…or does it actually read: “www.mywebsite.com:40022..” ?
If it actually reads mywebsite.com, then you have a configuration issue…and need to enter YOUR website’s information.

Hi,

Thank you for replying, yes I changed the posted URL because this is still a test site, the URL is correct.

Just to prove this is only a Joomal 1.6 issue I sucesfully installed JA Extension Manager on 2 domains on the same server.

Is the extension manager 1.6 ready or still under testing?

One more thing, just installed JA extension manager localy on Xampp, Joomla 1.6 stable, but when I click on the component link in administrator I get this:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getUserStateFromRequest() on a non-object in D:PortableAppsxampplitehtdocsxamppjoomla1.6administratorcomponentscom_jaextmanagermodelsdefault.php on line 47
