According to the changelog for JA Rasite, it appears to have last been updated for J3.1

You can certainly try the update to see how it takes … but if you do, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BACKING UP YOUR ENTIRE SITE & DATABASES FIRST – so that you can revert back if it does not work to your satisfaction.

Check out AKEEBA BACKUP as a very good backup utility.
