Navigating the admin backend is performing correctly until a Menu Item is selected. It is EXTREMELY slow and often times out with a "Internal Server Error" timeout message. What should I check?

- Provide step how to replicate this problem on your site .

Hi
You need to upgrade your site php configuration . Your PHP version of site is not as per needs with standard Joomla .
Upgrade PHP to PHP 5.5 and increase Memory Limits to 256M and max_execution time to 120 .

Slow site load may also be due to server sides .
