I’m very new to the Joomla thing but not web site design. When adding new pages to the site I’m creating, none of the template formatting carries over to the new pages. I get the old ‘fresh out of the box’ design, not my new stuff.

I have used plenty of php packages where the templates carry over easily after adding new pages through ADMIN.

What am I doing wrong?

Found it. Gotta hit “Default” under the template admin.
