Hi

Really like Spica,

I would like to overlay using HTML some text over the header-sl graphic. This would be regular text, not built into the graphic.

RIght now, if you look at….
http://acraorg.com/
….you will see by accident I have “Newsflash” on top of the graphic. I would like to be able to do that “on purpose”, putting any text I want over it.

I’m a bit new to joomla, and I”m sure there are various tricks to doing this, but I am not sure how to do it.

I’m surprised nobody anwered you on such a simple question. Any stories that you assign to the “NewsFlash” category will display over the header-sl graphic. The stories are randomly rotated, so a different story shows up each time you refresh. This and other features can be customized by editing the module “NewsFlash” in the admin control panel.
