I would like to be able to limit specific article access to specific users.
what should I be looking for as a plugin or something….

i had the same problem like you , and my solution was on joomla extensions , FREE CLICK HERE

Hi

I have used both Admin User Access and Hider extensions.

It depends on how much control you need. I found ‘Hider’ easier and more intuitive to use, but ‘Admin User Access’ does give more access control.

I’ve used both – just give them a try. Although, I think Hider will is the better choice here for your needs.
