I am using JA Decor template for my upcoming production site. I am using Hostgator and I received an email from Hostgator few days ago mentioning they are dismissing PHP 5.3 from their all shared servers in some days. I am currently using 5.3 on the site and I tried to upgrade to PHP 5.4 then it gives me an error / 500.
What is causing this? What might be the problem? I read somewhere that all Joomlart Templates are compatible for the latest versions of PHP.

Hello the template is compatible with the php versions .
The main thing is core joomla is compatible with it or not .
however the joomla is compatible with php5.4+ .
you can check the compatible on joomla site .
here is the link .
If you getting the 500 error please contact to the server team, there are some other php values that can cause it .
