    Hi,

    We’ve installed 2 accessibility extensions, for visitors to increase the font size, but they don’t appear to work with JA Builder… The extensions work fine, as we’ve tested them on another site using JA Charity and they work with no issues, it’s just on JA Builder where they don’t.

    Please investigate and advise asap.

    Hi @saguaros,

    The 2 extensions which we’re having trouble with are…

    1. Screen Reader (https://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/style-a-design/accessibility/screen-reader/)
      Which can be accessed by going to Plugins > "System – Screen Reader"

    2. Fast Font (https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/fast-font/)
      Which can be accessed by going to Modules > "Font Size Adjust".

    Hi,

    Please can we have an update on this?

    We need to use either the "Screen Reader" or "Font Size Adjust"extension on a project we’re working on.

    We were told that JA Builder is "fully compatible with all 3rd extensions"….

    Please advise asap.

    Hi @romolo,

    We checked with Fast Font module and it seems that this module will work with font size in “Ems” (em) unit, not Pixels (px) unit.

    So, to have it works in JA Builder, you can change the base font size to ’em’ unit instead of default ‘px’ unit:

    Edit page >> Settings >> Typography >> Base Font Size: http://prntscr.com/hvflon

    I just tested and it worked.
