FYI Testing out the quickstart it looks like ja_thumnail is meant to be used but it is not included in the quickstart. I haven’t tested 1.5 but I don’t see it in the list of plugins for either 1.5 or 1.6

It is true that JA Thumnail plg is not included in JA Bistro template. You can see more details via: http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-bistro
