    I’ve just installed the most recent quickstart download and it default to 1.0 legacy mode. if I turn the legacy plug-in off it won’t load the site – delvers a restricted access message. Anyone ever heard of this problem?

    That’s strange, I don’t know what the problem would be but I used the quickstart a few weeks back and now have legacy mode turned off. Everything is running fine. Could you try disabling the plugins and components then turning them on one at a time to see which is causing the issue?

    not the 1.5 native version. So the quickstart has to operate in legacy mode. No big deal since I wasn’t planning on using community builder but I’d be bummed if I had.

    In the Backend Go to Extensions >> Install / uninstall

    Click on components / modules / plugins / templates

    the objects with x (cross) under “Compatibility” column means Joomla legacy dependent.

    Easy way out to see if all your extensions are Joomla native or not.
