July 24, 2015 at 10:45 pm #640163I am thinking to use Joomlart template to build sites for my clients and then charged the clients for the service.
If I joined the “Joomla Template Club Membership” and pay for the branding removal also – Is “Joomla Template Club Membership” license sufficient for this use?
All I need is a straight answer, thanks

JATC Membership doesn’t allow to remove ja copyright for websites , you will need to purchase copyright removal license as add ons

JATC Standard / Personal members need to purchase copyright removal to change the footer notice but cannot rebrand the product / file info, whereas, Developer members are free to remove copyright or rebrand the products.
With Copyright removal you can remove our footer “Designed by JoomlArt.com” and changed it to “Designed/Powered by YourCompany”.
The Copyright Removal fee structure is as follows:
Copyright Removal for 01 domain: USD40
Copyright Removal for 02 domain: USD70
Copyright Removal for 03 domain: USD90
So would be better for you to purchase a JA DEV Membership

Developer members are free to remove copyright or rebrand the products.
also you will have unlimited domains , different from JATC where you will have max 3 domains for default
Best regards

July 27, 2015 at 12:10 am #644936Hi there,
You have not answered my question. I am aware that for JATC Standard Membership to remove copyright, member need to purchase copyright removal license as an add-ons – YES I know this …
Now, my question, can I purchase ‘JATC Standard Membership‘ and buy copyright removal license and then build a site for my client? So is JATC Standard Membership sufficient for this use, understand my pre-sales question now?
Thanks.

Please consider getting JA Developer Membership to build sites and then charge clients for your service. I see that you were a JA Developer member before so now you only need to pay $210 (30%off from original price) to renew membership.

Yes, I was a member of the JA Developer Membership but I am not busy these days. The problem is your licensing structure is not flexible for a small agency like me doing one off project for client from time to time. If I am busy, then I would get the JA Developer Membership. I think rockettheme allow one-off site license for commercial use, checking …
I think you should make your licensing structure more flexible and give people the choice – what a shame, it is stopping me to buy.

Actually we are planning on some changes for our membership plans, one-off site license for commercial use could definitely be an option in very near future. You can view THIS official blog post about upcoming improvements for more details.
Right now you can ask your client to purchase JATC Standard Membership & Copyright Removal him/herself so it’s counted as personal license, then you can proceed to build site for your client.
