Hi,

I tried to ask this question in T3 site but from some reason I couldn’t register and there was no email there to report a problem.

Anyway, I wanted to know if it is safe to upgrade the T3 frame work to 2.5.2 and if it can be done through Jommla! update manager?

I read in T3 site there are some problems but I was not sure if it was a generic problem with the framework or a specific user problem.

Does someone here did this upgrade and can advise?

Hi
If you do not have customization in T3 , you can upgrade the t3 plugin to latest version there is no issue in it .
Use JA extension manager to update the plugin online , Or you can download latest version and install it manually from Joomla extension manager installer .
Always take backup of site before update extensions.

Hey,

I am actually having the same issue upgrading to new T3 as well as new JA ACM version.

Via Joomla! Extension Update Manager the update for both does not work properly.

Should I just uninstall/delete both and then download and reinstall new version?

First I think it said update path does not exist now I think it has something to do with the connection to your server timing out.

Just figured I’d ask.

As for new version of JA ACM will this new version support all of the different styles and possibilities that can be found in JA Uber theme as long as the template is running the latest T3 framework version or will some JA themes such as Social II still only support limited styles of JA ACM???

Ideally I would love to be able to use all styles of JA ACM especially Hero Style 4 in all new T3 based templates such as ijoomla Jomsocial Socialize 2.1 template.

Would this be possible now?

Sorry for the inconvenience JA Extension manager have some problems at this time , Team is working on it to fix the problem .
Alex Only JA Uber contains all JA ACM style in it . Please take a look in this doc to use acm in other templates (Its not support for third party templates).
