HI, we have a site http://www.propibsa.com and we don’t know where we should translate the text like:

Read more , in items K2
Under Tag in item k2
Read times in k2 item
We have installed k2 spanish translation.

HI, i had realised a test. I change in languageen-GBen-GB.com_k2.ini “Read More” by “Leer mas” but did’nt work well.
I have thr front-end in spanish language and i have the k2 spanish translation
Where i change this text?

Hi

You need to have in languages a es-ES folder – in that folder copy the en-GB.com_k2.ini and rename it as es-ES.com_k2.ini

Why don’t take the es-Es.com_k2.ini? There are other words that is in Spanish. You cann see them in http://www.propibsa.com

Hi

Please check now i changed words directly in the php file named category_item.php in this folder templatesja_tirishtmlcom_k2templatesja_tiris.

Check the other words and translate them as you wish
<?php echo JText::_('your text translated'); ?></span>

Regarding your other question K2 Items to be showed in a new page needs to be related to a menu item

If you don t want to show a menu item simply make a new Hidden menu and add the K2 items to it

Hi Pavi, i translate all words,
Regarding the k2 items show in a new page if I select in option menu “inicio” a k2 categories element option then don’ show in a new page (http://www.xxxx.com/item). If I select “Latest items from categries or users” the open in http://www.xxx.com/noticias/item

Any idea?

Go to Menu manage :
– Create a new menu group as Invisible menu
– Create menus in Invisible menu group point categoies which are parent of items you mentioned.
