January 1, 2009 at 5:06 am #284441I’m using JoomSuite User (better registration details, captcha security on registration form, etc.), and JoomSuite Member (pay to view content, payment gateway, etc.) and I can recommend both!

January 1, 2009 at 5:54 am #284443In standard Joomla registration it’s basically ‘Name’, ‘Username’, ‘Password’ and ‘e-mail’ are the only available fields.
However, I wanted more information about my ‘pay to view’ subscribers! So, on my registration form I have:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Username
- Age (drop down menu of age groups)
- Location (drop down menu of countries)
- Occupation (drop down menu of business sectors, education, etc.)
- Time Zone
You can have much more if you want them, also you can make any of the fields mandatory on registration.
There’s also other features that I don’t use (Avatars, Reports, etc.).
Currently you can download a trial licence free of charge at JoomSuite and if you want to purchase it’s currently 19 euros for a lifetime licence.
However, if you wish to restrict ‘pay to view’ premium content, you will also need JoomSuite Member.
Hope that helps!
Chris
