Hello,
I have successfully set up the corresponding S3 bucket and the files I want to use.
But for some reason, in the front-end, not all files appear to come from the CDN although all of them were successfully uploaded to S3.
What can be the reason for this? In which file the host-name get changed from the Joomla server to the CDN?
Thanks,
Dan

February 26, 2014 at 10:56 am #524448Hi Dan,
I have checked your site and see almost images are loaded from CDN now.
Could you please give me one specific case for checking, I will try to debug again.March 4, 2014 at 9:13 pm #525335Hey yes, thanks for your response.
The files in the site are currently coming from the CDN as they should.
But most of them miss the query string (?javer=….) and so modified files don’t get uploaded to S3.
Any idea what might be wrong with them? Will modifying the file checksum and file original checksum tables in the database help make a change?
Awaiting your response.
Thanks,
Dan

March 5, 2014 at 2:07 am #525345Hi Dan,
If you want your site to ignore old files from browser cache, in profile setting form, you need to set the setting “Cache lifetime” with “0” value, so JA Amazon S3 will add ?javer= param in URL string query.

March 5, 2014 at 3:38 pm #525478Hey Dead Code,
Thanks again for your quick reply!
The change you recommended worked indeed, but when I set the cache lifetime to 0 then the resources aren’t really cached on the user’s computer. I want the resources to cache on the user’s computer so that in his future visits he won’t have to re-download them,
Another question: There are some files that are being downloaded from the CDN but they don’t receive the query string. Any idea what may cause this?
Best,
Dan
