Hey guys!
First – congrats! Because your website is (finally) a quick one (or at least its not slow as hell). Because it used to be slow (maybe only for foreign visitors I don’t know but it was VERY slow). Now its working as expected (although it might be temporary I don’t know what you did there 😀 )
Now for my question. I have like 2 websites created using JA Builder. And I am preparing another one – ecommerce using Virtuemart + JA Builder. Now all of these are created using different hosting and I will be moving it to the live one. I need to know what is the safe way to move it so that JA Builder doesn’t mess itself up?
I must say I am bit affraid to use Akeeba because last time I did that it messed up my JA Builder so much I was unable to change anything in header and footer section. And I had to manually export all pages from the old hosting to the new one. So what do you guys suggest? Should I just choose a manual way? Meaning back up FTP files -> move it to the new one, back up sql and move it and edit the config then? Should I logoff my premium JA Builder before I do that? Not sure…please let me know. Thanks 😉

Hi,
Do you have any other content or JA Builder only? If only JA Builder, pls use the Import / Export feature to export page by page and import to the destination site.
In case that you also have other content, try to use Akeeba backup again, and restore to a local site (for testing first). If the page in the restored site doesn’t work properly, try to export that page from the original site and import again.
I recommend you do this in local / testing server first.
