Kindly open the Home menu > options > template style > assign the default Joomla template to home menu.
save and check. if still its not showing the template you assigned to the menu, there is something wrong with your Joomla during the update.
Kindly restore the backup and try the update on localhost first.

Hi,

I think it’s not a problem from joomla. I downloaded a new version purity_iii.zip from your server and installed it. The menue assignment also looks like my image.

Please check the first post of this thread you mentioned the issue from Joomla update

Since the update from Joomla 3.3 to 3.7 the menues in the template assignment are not displayed correctly.

You can install the quickstart package and do not apply any changes, let me know if you have this issue with quickstart package.

Hi,

I think there is only a css problem in the template. The beez template is okay. See image beez.png
The quickstart package I installed is not okay. See image purityIII-image1.png

If I change the -moz-column-count from 3 to 1 there is everthing okay! See image purityIII-image2.png

#menu-assignment .menu-links {
    -moz-column-count: 3;
}

#menu-assignment .menu-links {
    -moz-column-count: 1;
}

I don’t know why, but look at my images. Template Assignment Protostar and beez3 are okay. Only Purity III is not good. Firefox and Google Chrome looks the same.

image-1 = protostar
image-2 = beez3
image-3 = Purity III – corporate
image-4 = Purity III – Jugendliteraturpreis
