    Hi Everyone,

I am a little embarrassed by this post as I am sure the solution is probably very simple. I am trying to install the T3 framework for the first time and am having a problem even getting the basic install done.

After filling in the data in the DATABASE CONFIGURATION screen I am getting the following error message:

An error occurred while trying to create the database neilmark_T31.
The user may not have enough privileges to create a database. The required database may need to be created separately before you can install Joomla!.

I am sure the database has been created properly via CPanel, and have not seen this error message before on previous standard joomla installs. As I am a complete newbie to T3 I am wondering if there is something fundamental that I need to do that is different to standard installs. I have checked all the server permissions and they seem ok.

Apologies if this is an obvious issue that has been raised before, I couldn’t find any other previous posts on this issue, so if anyone has any suggestions I would be really pleased to hear them.

    many thanks
    Neil
