I don’t want to show the date in article placed in “mod_jasidenews” !
Everywhere I’ve set settings to HIDE date created and HIDE date modifyed, but still on the front page date is showing! And sometimes date is 30 november 1999!
WT…???
Why you release so buggy templates and provide so poor support?

UP!!!
I’d like to see stable solution for this problem.

In my case “access and edit” doesn’t work – I have to create completely new article with new name, but this also doesn’t mean, that new artice will appear correctly.

There’s an option in this module parameters allow you show/hide the date. You can check in the attachment images.
The option:
8603
The result:

1. jasidenews-no-date
2. jasidenews-options

I know about this option very well – adjusting doesn*t work and because of this I started this thread.

HEllo

Now, let me find solutions for this issue:

please open the file /modules/mod_jabulletin/tmpl/default.php and try finding the following :
<?php echo JHTML::_(‘date’, $item->date, JText::_(‘DATE_FORMAT_LC4’)); ?>
replace:
a)
<?php echo JHTML::_(‘date’, $item->created, JText::_(‘DATE_FORMAT_LC2’)); ?>
It’s quite strange. It works very well at my end (as the screenshots). Do you have any live url which I could access ?

Hi, Tienhc

I replased the file and wrote new article. Date is still 30 november 1999 .

Global parameters:

Author Name Hide
Created Date and Time Hide
Modified Date and Time Hide
Show Navigation Hide
Read more… Link Show
Article Rating/Voting Hide

Article parameters: “use global” – I get wrong date.
Only after hiding also Created Date and Time Modified Date and Time I can get normal date.

So, thank you for you answer, but problem is solved only partially.

I’m still waiting for the answer. How to hide the date in an article placed in “mod_jasidenews”.
