    Hi there,
I got the terrible surprise to see my rankings dropped litteraly after installing ja-vintas (I had ja-zeolite before)
When I go to Open Site Explorer to see my links, I realized that the links of the main menu are considered as image and not anchor text. No doubt that this is one of the reason.

Has anyone already encounter this ? Is this because I use css compression ?
Thanks in advance for all your help :

    Hi thuraminho,

As you know the Open Site Explorer is an online SEO tool to find out the numbers of inbound links redirecting to your website from outside. While this tool also lists the menu item links of your website, that means that they are the internal links or anchor links you insert under the images inside some articles. You should find out that articles and check out the anchor text links.

The CSS compression of T3 system plugin is used to minify the numbers of .css file being loaded on a page by combining the css styles into a same .css file and reducing the unnecessary elements. It is not related to anchor text factor of <alt> elements yet.

    Thanks Leo,
actually I just found out why. On the my ja-zeolite version of the website (before passing to ja-vintas) there was a icon for every link menu; so open site explorer has not “refresh” its data yet.
Thanks anyway, it helped me understand that it was not compression !
