    Hi,

I have used the T3 framework to produce a template, which up until today has been working fine. This morning my client emailed to say that the site was down, but it turns out that the Mega Menu is causing a very specific problem….

The homepage returns nothing (including no source). Every other page works as expected and the mega menu can be used to navigate, as long as you done click ‘home’ or the logo. I can’t debug this as NOTHING is returned!

I have tested the template with the other menu types and it works fine (e.g. dropline, CSS, Moo) – but obviously I can’t now see the modules that are sitting in my mega menu… I have also tested using a different template and the site works fine too.

Has anyone else come across this? And how to fix. I have not made any changes to the template or upgraded / installed components, modules or plugins that could have caused this failure. This template has been working for about 2 months.

My temporary fix is to use CSS menu, but I’d like to revert to mega menu if possible.

    Hoping someone can help.

Ask your client about the last thing he has done to the site. New installations? Or did he enable the mootools upgrade plugin?

If it was working well for 2 months and now gone down. It does not make sense. Either its your client changes, new installation or faulty articles or your host.

IF CSS menu works but mega does not, its for sure JS conflict with some other script.
