March 15, 2012 at 12:01 am #175001After a failed attempt to migrate from Joomla 1.7.3 to 2.5 I restored my AKEEBA backup file and everything worked again, except the display of the site logo. It seems that the file was not written to the folder, so I uploaded it again (logo.png). Nevertheless the Joomlart logo still appears. ???

March 15, 2012 at 4:42 am #443722Did you remember to also replace the logo image for the particular color theme you’ve chosen?

Hi Tom Crawford,
the Joomlart logo seems to be undestructible. I placed/substituted the logo.png file in the following folders:
/ja_blazes/images
/templates/ja_blazes/themes/<name of theme>I also changed the template configuration from image to text and back to image. No way! Could it be a cache related problem?

It could be . . . and often times clearing the cache (both JAT3 and browser) seems to “kick-start” the changes into effect. Definitely worth a shot. Also, just in case, you might want to check and see if there is also css for the logo within a template.css file within the following file path –> pluginssystemjat3jat3base-themesdefaultlayoutcsstemplate.css <– or within an approximate/adjacent file location.
(I don’t have ready access to the site files at this particular moment, but that should be the approximate file path – at least topoint you in the general direction).
