September 25, 2007 at 5:21 pm #230020This is a nice template choice for the shop. A few suggestions … less is sometimes more. I wouldn’ t pack so many modules on the frontpage. Looking at your site the first time it takes some time to get an orientation.
I would make a decision if it should look spiritual or commercial. If you want people buying your products a spiritual ambiance is probably the better choice but you can be pretty sure that the google logo, several paypal logos, the blinking babylon module etc. will kill any spiritual feeling a visitor might have which means you can forget your prayer module too (no offence meant :))
Personally I would not use the babylon translation module. The translations are probably good to get a first idea about the text but it is not a good translation tool and the translations are often rather funny then accurate. They are certainly not a good basis for understanding business terms or making business. If people decide to use such a translation service they will usually know that they just need to add the link to google-translations or some other of the countless free online translation services. I wouldn’t sacrifice the layout for it.
You have an interesting slideshow on your site. Your logo and the flag fit well in your layout, too. But for my taste there are too many different animations on the frontpage. The newsflash in the header is not inviting to read since the place is too small for so many text. There you have a movement from bottom to the top. The slideshow is moving from left to right and the babylon tool is blinking and finally the virtuemart scroller is scrolling … so many movements are distracting. I would leave the slideshow and maybe the productscroller and replace the other animations with some non-moving static content.
Re your stretched content area … my guess is that you have published some empty modules in the right and left column which results in a stretched content. Maybe it helps when you unpublish all modules you definitely don’t use.
Hope my critic doesn’t sound too harsh … 🙂

September 25, 2007 at 8:32 pm #230030Hi bluecafe
appreciate your comment , you were right about the # of modules and that to many movements
on the front page.
it’s looks that the site is more stable now.I discovered the problem with the stretched content area , the template is very sensitive in the right & left module about the width any module that more width than 130p break the template.
so i change the CSS in one of the modules and the problem done.
thanks again:)
