Hi

I am having some issues with the JA Teline IV 2.5 website and administration area being very slow. Adding and saving new articles in the admin area are taking forever. The front end website is also very sluggish and I am not using that many modules.

I have read the other posts and made the following changes:

1. Uninstalled K2 from the admin area
2. Changed T3assets from 755 to 777
3. Join & Minify & Compress the CSS and Javascript
4. Uninstalled any unused plugins and modules

Even after these modifications the admin area is super slow and the website is not that far behind. Is there anything I can do or I am missing?

There are many ways to slow down your website but you can try to use this way below

+ Consider ‘important’ modules / content, sometime switch them off will be better

+ Enable Caching as much as possible (page caching, view caching, module caching) in JAT3 framework upports this option
+ Join & Minify & Compress the CSS and Javascript(include in JAT3 framework)
+ Optimize all your images – Most if not all should be at least below 10kb
Crop the white space using Photoshop
Use PNG8 Files or GIF files rather than Jpegs and don’t use transparency
Make images the size you want rather than resizing them in the editor
+ Performance hosting server
