HI,
got three issues…

1 thin line around JAHghslide when used in origonal template demo format at top -any ideas how to get rid of it??
2 dark backgrounds and white text in articles and modules – how can I change this?
3 drop down main menu colours when hover – how do I change this?

I have changes quite a few other things, but these three currently have me stumped!

any help appreciated!

1) you need to set a default for entries of the site via the the following rules inside the file: templates/ja_quartz/css/template.css

body#bd {
color: #fff777;
background: url(../images/body-bg.jpg) no-repeat center 80px #ffffff;
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
}

at the moment, the color #fff777; is not clear. you can chang other.

and find :

#ja-current-content {
background: #0E0E0E;
margin: 0 15px;
padding: 15px;
}

you change the background of the main content via that rules.

3 drop down main menu colours when hover – how do I change this?
you open the file: /templates/ja_quartz/ja_menus/ja_cssmenu/ja.cssmenu.css and find the following code:

1) for default background

#ja-cssmenu li ul li {
border-bottom: 1px solid #202020;
border-right: none;
background: none;
}

and :
=> when mouse hover

#ja-cssmenu li ul a:hover,
#ja-cssmenu li ul a:active,
#ja-cssmenu li ul a:focus,
#ja-cssmenu ul li:hover,
#ja-cssmenu ul li.sfhover,
#ja-cssmenu ul li.havesubchildsfhover,
#ja-cssmenu ul li.havesubchild-activesfhover,
#ja-cssmenu ul ul li:hover,
#ja-cssmenu ul ul li.sfhover,
#ja-cssmenu ul ul li.havesubchildsfhover,
#ja-cssmenu ul ul li.havesubchild-activesfhover {
background: #58082E;
color: #FFFFFF !important;
}

you change other backgrould -color for both rules

It moves depending on size of page.
I have att. a small file showing you the line in 2 different positions, both just under the logo but the line does go all the way around the JAHighslide.
hoping you can possibly help again!

Sorry but I could not understand you well. Your snapshort mention the ja slideshow2 module and what you want is to remove 2 vertical lines of main image from the slideshow.

Kindly confirm if I am right and I will study and give you further solutions.
