    Hi,

We manage the licensed templates per domains and all those domains must be registered to us via http://www.joomlart.com/member/yourdomain.php for legal usage. We will use those declarations for further track down on your legal usage. Based on the membership packages you have purchased. The system will automatically updated the total of licensed domain you can add.

Then I don’t get it. The template is free, but to get some licence I have to buy membership and register a domain? This makes no sense for me what for make the template free.

    Hi,

For JoomlArt product licenses , you can find more info via: http://www.joomlart.com/joomlart/licenses

For JA Purity II, this template is running on T3 Framework and is 100% GNU/GPL product. No JA Proprietary licenses involved. If you want to use part or whole of it, then you need to follow the copyright guidelines via http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Template_Framework/Copyright

I have a free membership that I’ve had since 2009. I’ve been using a template from another company that requires me to run Joomla 1.5 in Legacy mode. I decided I’d like to be able to use a 1.5 native template that gives me a better menu system and that will let me run newer extensions and plugins. So I found Purity ii. and am changing my two websites to this template.

I had wanted to remove the banner with the joomla ball caps and found that getting rid of the footer took care of that. Then about 24 hours latter after doing that I got the “site restricted message.” I thought it might be from corrupting php files or css files so i tried redownloading the file. The first site that I transitioned over to purity II is now saying only the Name site and “site restricted”. I can switch back to my old template and turn back on legacy and the site is back up. So for now I’m doing that.

I think the google bot got me, but I only wanted to remove the picture with the ball caps. I’ve turned the footer back on. The previous company’s template wouldn’t let me remove the footer. How do I get the google bot to stop blocking my site? Also, with purity II template it is unclear as to whether it’s o.k. to remove the copywrite. Thanks for your help!

What is your URL? Sounds like you’ve got more than just a template issue going on.

My URL’s are katekatahdin.com and birthtransforms.com. Birthtransforms has the purity template on it now. KateKatahdin has my old template on it. When I tried to uninstall the purity template yesterday there was a message that a .ini file couldn’t be removed. Thanks for your help. Katekatahdin.com was the site that I’ve been having the problem on. The file that was unable to be installed was /templates/ja_purity_ii/params.ini . I changed the permissions in cpanel, but that didn’t get rid of the problem.

I changed to a different 1.5 native template and it didn’t work either. So maybe the problem isn’t what I thought. I’m reinstalling joomla.
