I have a fresh install of Joomla along with JA Uvite and its extensions. When I send ja-news-fp to the ja-news position, there is nothing at that place. Why?

In fact, not even an article appears in ja-news of the front page… Other pages are fine.

Figured it out for me at least…

I simply had not set the front page article I had written to be in the ‘News’ Section!! Doh!!

Try replacing your /template/ja_uvite/index.php file with a fresh one from the template. Also try putting your Front Page articles in a category. Attention, do not replace the /index.php file at the root! You will find the file you have to replace in the download package in the template file.
