Even using the very small demo images the slideshow is shown only after +/- 15 seconds. Is there a way to get the slideshow images being displayed first?

Okay, first of all … you need to WARN US about the content of a site like that BEFORE we go opening it. 😉

Secondly . . . What are the file sizes of the images for your slideshow?

the Joomlart slideshow demo files use to be very small. In this case: 16 KB.

As a suggestion – look into your Extension Manager to make sure all of your extensions (and template/JAT3) files are up-to-date with latest versions/fixes etc. If you are not certain how to use the Extension Manager for this purpose, here is a helpful TUTORIAL for such.

Often times, this can resolve the issue. If you successfully update your extensions and such and the issue persists, let me know.
