Hi, i need to remove the layout parameter from the get in touch page links as it creates duplicate content. can anyone help with that

Hi

You should edit the get in touch menu item in main menu and change it from menu item alias to Contact Single contact

hi, that removed the layout code but changed the look of the page. how can i change the design to be similar to the demo site?

Assign to the menu item the template layout assigned to other menu items ( it should be the default layout )

if i select “Contact company” it shows fine but adds the ?layout=ja_decor:company to the end of url and the “Single Contact” option shows the page blank.

Hi

You can override url with Sh404sef component but you have already a contact.html overrided url

So my suggestion is to clean ( purge ) the urls stored already into sh404sef and recreate a unique url “contact.html” for Get in touch item ( /contact.html?layout=ja_decor:company should be redirected to contact.html )

as i said earlier the parameters doesn’t show in sh404. tried to purge the urls and create a new one and again it adds the “?layout=ja_decor:company” to the end of the url and funny enough now i got this at the end of url:

/contact.html?layout=ja_decor:company&lang=en?layout=ja_decor:company&lang=en

can you please let me know what you changed so at least i return it to contact.html?layout=ja_decor:company
