July 26, 2006 at 3:14 am #209930Hi Matt,
If you want to use JA CSS Menu, go to line 8th in the index.php and change the $ja_menutype value to 2.

Ha Le-VietJuly 26, 2006 at 3:53 pm #209932cool, i realize not that JA CSS menu is refered to as suckerfish, right? more clear, now i should be able to find more set up instruction in the forums because i don’t see it documented.
an in my index.php file it’s on line 15, and in the user guide it reads line 14, and you say line 8 … it make me think that i have an new or old version, i just downloaded yesterday so i should be fine, just revisions i suppose.
cheers

http://id.joomlart.com/forums/topic/usage-of-transmenu-module/but thought this may be better in this category with this template. im trying to set up transmenu.
using JA Regulus template.
i set the index.php to 3 for transmenu
i’ve used the top menu position in trans menu mod, position user 3 (like top menu mod)
unpublished top menu mod and publish transmenu
set two different sub menus (one with link url and one Link – Content Item)http://www.meadowwoodhomes.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1
now i realize that the topmenu position does not reflect the topnav mod items, it’s actually the mainnav mod’s items?
i published a submenu item in the mainmenu mod and it works? weird? i didn’t unpublish the main mod either? but the topmenu mod is unpulished, and when i publish it, it still works?
why do the mainmenu mod’s item links show up in the user 3 spot where the topmenu nav is positioned, when the mainmenu is positioned at left?
thanks

July 26, 2006 at 5:26 pm #209938Hi Matt,
We produces templates, not modules. When you install JA Regulus, that means you just install this template and no modules are installed. By default, the JA Split Menu, JA CSS Menu and JA Transmenu integrated in JA Regulus will show the mainmenu. If you want to change this value, go to ja_cssmenu.php or ja_transmenu.php and change the parameter value in the 8th line to the menu you want. You don’t have to install other menu, or publish or unpublish any other modules/menus.
By the way, the line number in files may varies because of the mechanism of your text editor. As you may know, Windows based and *nix based have different kind of new line characters, so the text files can be showed differently in text editors. You can make sure your files are up to date by applying our patches or re-downloading the template when new patch is out.
