I’m very new to Joomla and still trying to learn it. I had a person who installed the Pariiti template for me and then I just add/edit the content. I’m trying to figure out a way to do online registration for an event using Paypal. Paypal’s instruction to cut and paste html code where I want the shopping cart buttons doesn’t seem to work – nothing shows up on the live site. Is this just with this template or is it with all Joomla templates? Is Virtuemart needed to be able to integrate Paypal with Joomla or is there another way? Also, if there is a shopping cart in another template that can be inserted into the Pariiti template and still retain the Pariiti look?
Thanks in advance for any helpful info!

August 14, 2007 at 10:31 pm #227090You can use virtuemart as a shopping cart if you wish and still have the same look as PAriiti.
As for the buttons dont show up i think you havent done it correct with the code placement.A admin access and url to your site is good to start with. Give the log in info in a PM and give me some more backgorund information in same PMcwigg Friend

August 14, 2007 at 11:50 pm #227091Hi, I had the same problem with the paypal code when simply slapped into an item, but if you use the kl_php mambot you can imbed the paypal button code into a joomla static content item. I imagine the more easily obtained mod_php will do the same. So no need to use virtuemart. If you need more assistance, feel free to PM me.
