Hi All,
How I can change the image of slide show which linked to article, the JA SLideshow2 module setting is set to from category instead of from image folder but I cannot change the picture inside the /slideshow folder. How to linking the article to desired picture in /slideshow folder and make a thumbnail.
Thanks in advance.

December 13, 2011 at 9:00 am #429456Hi,
If you are using the From Category option, images from the articles from the selected category will show up in the slideshow.. In that case the thumbnails will be the resized images of the big pictures you see..
If you use the From folder option then you can put whatever images you want, in the folder path you provide in the module and you can choose to give link and description for the images shown and again thumbnails will be the resized images of the pictures you see in slideshow..
What I understood from your post is you want to show articles from some category and you want to know how to link the pictures you have in some folder with the articles showing up in the slideshow.. So as i said above the image should be in the article itself..
Let me know if I misunderstood anything and explain the issue preferably with screenshot.

December 13, 2011 at 11:39 am #429468Hi Zoel,
Try clearing site cache and then refresh the page having slideshow. If this doesnt show you the image you want I would need to see the settings and articles myself to give you any further solution.. Can you please provide your site url for me to see what is happening in that case?
