After sifting through the setup documentation, I cannot seem to get the google map to show. It only shows a blank grey screen and only sometimes on certain categories. Weird. I am not sure how to resolve. Please help …
An example is here – https://www.opensourceliving.org/index.php/agriculture

June 27, 2016 at 7:27 am #944475Hi
The map will be loaded when the template JA Directory is loaded so please try to set JA Directory as default template on your site.
June 27, 2016 at 6:17 pm #944626I’ve triple-checked the API and also made the template the default as your suggested but it still doesn’t work. Here is a screenshot attached of the JS Console details at this example url – https://www.opensourceliving.org/index.php/emergency-preparedness

June 27, 2016 at 8:26 pm #944652I’m confused with this issue. The map IS working on bottom-level sub-categories but it does NOT load on the top-level categories.

June 28, 2016 at 4:41 pm #945001Do you have any 3rd party extension used in that page? it may cause the conflict in JS.
June 28, 2016 at 4:45 pm #945002No other extensions that wouldn’t also be active on the bottom-level sub-categories that work. That is exactly why I can’t seem to figure out why this isn’t working.

July 19, 2016 at 3:11 am #951310The culprit is from email extra field added inside K2 item: nature human. I must disable the Plugin Email Cloaking to show the map. It’s working now, kindly have a look.
August 2, 2016 at 6:49 pm #956165I see. Will the email cloaking be able to work in the future?

August 3, 2016 at 1:49 am #956224If you wanna enable this plugin, you will need to change the email field in K2 extra field as it will cause the conflict as above.
