Hi! I’m new here. and a rookie … please help with the following

I just installed the quickstart of JA Menthys. My site now looks like this: http://www.beyondthecatwalk.com/platform/index.php

Q1: why do the pictures not show?
Q2: how do i solve the problem for the three times error “JFolder::create: Could not create directory” under the slideshow area?
Q3: all directory permissions are now set to unwritable, but when i look at my ftp it says at these locations 755

Hi,
Because quickstart doesn’t include these images. It’s not problem.

I don’t see it

Thanks Khoad for the reply.
I already solved it, …

only Q that remains: I set the directory permissions which joomla noted as unwritable, now all to writable with 777. Is this okay?? Because i read alot on the internet that 777 is not good??

But with 755 nothing changed only with 777 it became writable. So is this ok, the 777 permissions? Thanks in advance! Jornt
