Hello people,
My site is up and running and I’ve recently found out that visitors using IE6.0 see the site differently to all others, with the various browsers.
The problem is that the VirtueMart component (placed on the left – and appears first) is shown normally in all browsers but in IE6.0 its desplayed below tho whole page leaving a big blank space behine. The rest of the site displays normally.
The site can be found here : http://www.ballistic-tuning.com
Its probably something with the CSS file I would think, but I don’t know how to fix it.
Any ideas ?Thank you

June 27, 2007 at 1:24 pm #222813Hi Till. I’m having the same issue. How did you fix it??
June 27, 2007 at 1:36 pm #222814Ah, I see the problem. I have a news scroller from joomla-addons.org in the left position that’s not behaving well on the front page. I’ll turn that off until I can figure out why.
June 27, 2007 at 10:21 pm #222843Hello,
In my case it was just a case of fiddling with the css files a bit. The virtuemart component on my website was “wider” than the left div as displayed in IE 6.0 and was wrapped.
Increasing the width values a bit fixed this.
Am sorry that I cant be more specific, it’s been quite a while since then and I dont remember exactly which lines I had to change.Hope it helps.
Take carequantaweb Friend

January 22, 2008 at 2:37 am #236888I have seen this on a development site, In IE6, the modules contained in the left column can appear at the bottom of the page, below the end of the mainbody contents. I found that this can be corrected by shrinking the left column width in CSS by 0.5% – changing it from 20% to 19.5%.
#ja-mainbody-fr #ja-leftcol {
width: 19.5%; -
