June 3, 2011 at 7:02 pm #164775Don’t know whether you can help on this or even whether it is a template issue. I’ve created a custom template in the local folder following the instructions for the t3 framework. I can see the results in Firefox 3 and IE on my Windows XP PC but on the new Windows 7 PC Firefox simply refuses to see the custom template even after clearing every cache I could find in Firefox and on my site. IE displays the custom template properly on Windows 7. Only Firefox has a problem. I’ve never had this problem and an dumbfounded by what it could be. Any ideas?

June 3, 2011 at 7:39 pm #394577With some trepidation, I’ve taken the site out of maintenance mode to give you access: http://internetmarketershive.com. If you see the JA Social header it’s not working. Thanks for your interest. It would be helpful if someone with a similar configuration (Firefix 3.6.17 on Windows 7) can report whether they see the local template or not…

June 3, 2011 at 8:59 pm #394591I’ve cleared the Joomla and T3 caches (and disabled all the menu items except Home). I should note that there is no compression of css and caching is deactivated and I’ve found that the full site/template does not load on the first attempt and often requires a refresh. Hopefully this will disappear once caching is activated.

June 3, 2011 at 9:15 pm #394592I’ve discovered the reason for the problem. I’ve set the theme using the Panel on the front-end to Orange. When I set it to default (where the custom template has been set in the back end) everything is displayed as they should. Helps once you know how to work with the Panel!
