I have tried every setting I can think of and the menu item set to category blog with 3 columns continues to squish to the left. It seems to continue to get smaller and smaller as you scroll down the page.
When I set it to two columns – there are empty spaces and the intro articles are squashed

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I solved this myself — thanks to er… nobody for actually trying to help >:( Turns out that we had copy/pasted some content into articles and it messed things up. For anyone looking to see what the problem is – toggle editor in the offending content and get rid of junk code.
