I cannot edit the menu at backend. When I attempt to edit a menu, I get The Connection was reset. I had to restore from a site backup due to password corruption. The front end menu is fine but need to modify the menu a bit. I get the feeling that this is a permission thing. Where do I find this file or something to give it permission?

    Hi

The recommended permission should be file: 644 and folder: 755. You can set it via cPanel in your hosting.

You can also ask your hosting provider for help to change it.

I checked at my host and I saw that I do have the permission. However, I found and resolved the problem. At first, I contacted my host support to determine the route cause. Support was extremely helpful in working with me thinking it was their end. He was able to reproduce the problem on my site at his end. Changing PHP version did not resolve. He checked everything I checked and still no resolve. Then I decided to use my Dell tablet with integrated cell and no issues. So it had to be my SonicWALL firewall. Emptying the cache (which I did not think would be the route cause) did not resolve it. The I played with the IPS area. When I turned off the Low Priority Attacks. The edit menu worked. Looked at my SonicWALL log and saw the Obfuscated HTML Code -109 ID 8944 in the Info group was the route cause. When I turned that off, RESLOVE. So Joomla 3.3 using the latest Teline IV was sending confusing code.
