At the frontpage of this website I saw this:

“Easy customization – Color and width variations via advanced configuration”

Yesterday I downloaded JA Teline II and I am wondering where the “advanced configuration” for color variation can be found. I’m using Joomla 1.0 and could not find something for it in ja_vars_1.0x.php

I would like to have different colour schemes for every menu-item. Just like you show on the demo-site

Hope you can help me out. I’ve searched a long time but couldn’t find the advanced configuration option.

Hi, yurivisser!

In order to have different colour schemes for every menu-item, you can do the followings:

1. Login into your Joomla Admin
2. Goto Modules Manager and click on JA News 1.3.0 name and you will see Group by Category or Section and Category (Section) ID parameters
example: I select Group by Category or Section is Section.
3. At Category (Section) ID parameter, you can customization colour schemes for menu item by edit:
<blockquote>5:red
8:green
6:orange12:cyan
9: pink
11:lime</blockquote>
Syntax for this is: <ID>:<color>. ID can be sectionID or categoryID base on what you choose right above and color can be color English name in this list (red, cyan, deepblue, green, orange, pink, lime))
