If in one of JoomlArt’s modules in your Joomla backend the ‘Save’, ‘Save & Close’, ‘Save & New’ and ‘Save as Copy’ buttons become nonresponsive, then there is a chance that you’ve purchased and installed ‘Admin Tools Pro’ extension and used it to create your .htaccess file for you.

If you did so, try renaming this file to something like .htaccess-ONHOLD, upload instead Joomla’s default htaccess.txt that comes with every Joomla install package, rename it to .htaccess and test your ‘Save’, ‘Save & Close’, ‘Save & New’ and ‘Save as Copy’ buttons (don’t forget before testing to clear first cache with Joomla and your browser and refresh your Joomla backend page).

If now they become responsive, then you’ve found the source of your troubles.

For more details on how to work with created by ‘Admin Tools Pro’ .htaccess file, please go to https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/athtaccessexceptions.html

If you either don’t have “Admin Tools Pro”, or you do have it but didn’t use it to create your .htaccess file, please try upgrading your offending module to its latest version (don’t forget to back up your site first, to be safe than sorry).
