    Seriously folks.

All topics that have Facebook Syndication Errors have no replies on. If this is a bug then at least acknowledge it. I have the correct fbid in and I still get the error. All other socal feeds are working.

Please sort this and make some kind of acknowledgement before people start requesting refunds.

Can we have some kind of fix.

    Hi !

I don´t know if this could be the problem, but have you investigated whether your FB profile is public.

The social plugin don´t have any login information so it can only read information shared as public.

Hi Peter it could well be something to do with settings in FB but in my case I don’t think its anything to do with setting to public. I am trying to get feeds from 2 pages, not groups that are set up for a business and as far as I am aware these are open to the public anyway.

    https://www.facebook.com/lasalabanus is one of them….

I understand what you mean if it was for example my personal page which people have to ask to join….

Hi Peter maybe I didn’t explain it properly but I do have the correct id number I am not using the unique URL.

I will keep experimenting but I just wondered if a FB page had a setting that needed changing in order for a feed to work? The page is public already….

It could be the issue that others are having though an incorrect ID?

I got Facebook pages to work but it would not bring images in that were uploaded, but it would display images that had been shared?

Then I tried a group but it doesn’t seem to like that and I am back to the error again….

I’m probably wrong but does wall and the social plugin recognise the https or is it made to work with http? I had a similar problem trying to load facebook and other social stuff into a lightbox popup, seems the popup couldn’t handle the secure url?

Our plugin only support to get feed from public Facebook page. That’s provide from this service api
    http://www.facebook.com/feeds/page.php?id=your_facebook_page_id&format=json

So, please visit above link first, then replace facebook page id with your own. You can see what will be imported into your site.
If, this page return nothing, so please check given id.

    Thanks

It works on the ID not the URL, I got this business page to work. However the client wants it to stream in from a group and that I cannot get to work….!
