Please send them most up to date version, I will also need this on my server for testing, this is the only way to find a fix, because you are refusing to do it alone. I also think membership pro is very kind for offering to help solve this issue.
As you have said this is partly due to use within 3rd party software.
Anyway, they have asked for the copy of jomsocial to fix the issue.
So, if you want you can share with membership pro and communicate with them to find the fix, that can then be worked into jomsocial
After that has been done and I can see it working on my server, then we can discuss a discount and further purchasing of the software, but in my view, this should have already been done and implemented a long time ago.
