Although I appreciate that we have found the root cause and now a fix, this still leaves me with a very confused feeling about the whole thing.
I was informed directly by JOMSOCAIL before I renewed that this error could not be replicate and the renewing would solve this issue.
In the face of the true facts, the earlier post from JOMSOCIAL telling me to upgrade now seems like a "FABRICATION and also MISLEADING" just to get me to renew to fix this issue.
Anyway, seems like you have got what you wanted, a renewed customer.
But not very confident about "TRUSTING" JOMSOCIAL Methods.
I hope I am not confusing the facts, please inform me if I am.

We don't know which version of Jomsocial you're using, we tested and it worked in our latest version, you can renew your membership and upgrade this latest version. If there is any issue, just contact us.

I am not able to replicate this issue on fresh package of Jomsocial.
I suggest you to subscribe for the membership and update the Jomsocial to latest version first.
Let us know with site details if you have any issue, we will check it on your site.
Also, this is why I suggested that you get in touch with Jomdonation in the FIRST place, when I created this ticket
At the moment, Jomdonation has provided a plugin that seems to have fixed the issue, had you done what I asked in the beginning, we would not be arguing about this now, I mean simply sending an email to Jomdonation would have solved us a lot of hassle! On both sides!
Anyway, I have shared your comments with Jomdonation.
You can also check the new plugin provided, it is installed on my server now, let me know if it is compliant with Jomsocial please.
