JA Polaris

Joomla! template design is a complex and time consuming process, and there is tension between designing for beauty and designing for function. While other Joomla! template providers tend to put most of the design effort into a graphic based job and give very slight attention to the simplicities and usability of the template, JoomlArt always keeps our goals to make the templates both pleasurable and functional, appealing and usable with a text and CSS based layout. This joomla template is built to responsd to many needs. We have 4 selections of color ('brown', 'green', 'red', 'blue') and 3 options for menus ( JA Split Menu, SuckerFish,Transmenu). Our designers always define the template concept and develope the template in a user-benefit oriented way. Color Variations

With JA Polaris, the Site Tools and Colors Switcher has been revamped using both PHP (server side) and Javascript (client/browser side) to enhance the accessibility and improve the performance for browsers. We will explain this technique in full details in a template tutorials which will be published in late September.

Installation:

Please download, unzip and read carefully the userguide.html file for installation and configuration guides. The template_css.css and index.php file are well-commented for the ease of customization.

Configuration:

There are a couple of configuration options for this template. The configuration variables are put in index.php file so that you can edit the file right from your Joomla! Admin CP. Go to Template Manager >> Edit HTML of JA Polaris template to make changes to these options. Please use userguide.html file, index.php files for advanced template configuration.
