Magento Club General Questions

What is what? I am confused ? How to differentiate Joomla, Drupal or Magento Products?

We use the following abbreviations for the various memberships at JoomlArt.

  • JATC - JoomlArt Template Club for Joomla!
  • JAEC - JoomlArt Extension Club for Joomla!.
  • JMTC - JoomlArt Magento Theme Club.
  • JDTC - JoomlArt Drupal Theme Club

Prefixes used for Products.

  • JA - used for Joomla! related products unless clarified in the same text.
  • JM - JoomlArt Magento - used for Magento Products.
  • JD - JoomlArt Drupal - used for Drupal Products.

So, JA Purity, JM Purity and JD Purity are the templates for Joomla!, Magento and Drupal Club Respectively.

How can I join the Magento Theme Club.

Which Magento! membership package is the best for me?

You are recommended to register the following packages as they will bring to you the best benefits:

  • Magento Developer 3 months or Magento Single License should work well for web developers in need on unlimited usage
  • Magento Personal membership 3 months or Single Personal license should work well for personal use

How much does it cost?

We have many Membership Packages for you to choose. Each package has different prices, durations and number of Supported domain.

JA membership fee is one-time fee, or I have to pay extra?

When your membership expires, you can still use all our templates, extensions downloaded during your membership period. However,in order to continue downloading our templates, extensions/updates and access to Forum area, renewal of your membership is required.

I do not have a Paypal account. Do you support other payment methods?

Yes! You can pay through all of payment gateways that Paypal or 2Checkout supports including all major types of Credit cards. Visit Paypal and 2Checkout for more information.

You can also pay via Bankwire. After selecting the membership package, our system will guide you throughout payment settlement.

I have paid for my membership but not yet received login details. What's the problem?

Normally, our system delivers login details instantly after a SUCCESSFUL payment. There are some cases that your payment is NOT SUCCESSFUL and we have to review and process download information manually.

  • You used ECHECK (Paypal)
  • Your Credit card location is different from your IP address
  • You used Proxy to make payment
  • Your payment was flagged as FRAUD by 2CheckOut or PENDING by Paypal

  • Have you checked your BULK/SPAM email folders?
  • If you do not receive any email after 48 hours (4 business days if you use ECHECK). Please contact us with proof of payment (Payment Receipt or Order number)
  • Contact us if you feel your case is not listed above.

Can I share my username? Why is my account suspended?

No. One username and password can be used by one buyer with up to five IP addresses only. Any attempt to share the username and password will result in the automatic suspension of your account. If your download traffic logs exceed the total number of allowed downloads, your account will be suspended immediately.

Do i get Renewal Discount or inter-club purchase discounts?

Any JA member purchasing other JA Club membership may be provided with loyalty discount, however, it is offered as part of promotions held from time to time. You can check our Promotions and Discount page for offers of your interest.

How to renew my membership?

Login to your Member Area and renew by purchasing the desired package as when you first sign up.

If a Renewal is purchased before the membership expires, the existing expiry date is extended by the length of membership that you Renew/Upgrade.

If the Renewal is purchased after the membership expires, access to our forum and download area is restored, and the expiry date will be set to the length of membership from the date of Renewal/Upgrade purchase.

Membership fees are refundable?

JoomlArt offers 7 days No Questions Asked Refund Policy. Please check our Refund Policy Page (link given at the bottom of this page)

Can I still use themes, extensions after my membership expires? Do I have to pay more?

When your membership expires, you can still use all templates and extensions downloaded during your membership period for your registered domains without paying any extra fee. In case you expect to use our templates for additional domains, you are required to renew/upgrade your membership. Access to downloads, updates, forum is automatically restricted on expiry of membership.

Can I add more domains after expiration?

No. You will not be able to add more domains. However, all registered and verified domains are life-time licensed for such products. This is applicable for memberships requiring registration of domains for usage and support.

My membership already expires for long, do I still get discount when renew/upgrade?

The discount is applied when a paid membership is renewed/upgraded within 30 days after expiry date.

If I renew, will my membership be extended since the date of renewal?

If a Renewal is purchased before the membership expires, the existing expiry date is extended by the length of membership that you Renew.

If the Renewal is purchased after the membership expires, access to our forum and download area is restored, and the expiry date will be set to the length of membership from the date of Renewal/Upgrade purchase.

Under what license are the magento Themes & Extensions released?

JMTC Themes are released under GNU/GPL V2 License for PHP codes, non-PHP elements such as css, images, Javascripts etc are released under JA Proprietary License. Please read more about licenses in the Terms of Use.

How do i find if my product has been updated or a new version is released ?

We have made it very easy now, to keep track of products and their updates. Visit http://update.joomlart.com and select your category and product from dropdown and you can check the status of updates and version release. Remember, you will have to check for each of the extension used on your site manually. For example, Teline III comes bundled with 16 extensions, so, its advised to check the updates for all the 16 extensions (modules, plugins, component) apart from checking the template version.

Where is the download section? I cannot find it?

Download section at JoomlArt is maintained in the forums, You can access it after logging into the main site / forums. If you are a new member, you would be asked to accept the forum rules and also read some compulsory threads before proceeding to the downloads.

I dont have time, Can you install the Quickstarts for me?

Yes, you can login to your members area and avail the Installation service at $ 40 per installation. This will cover the installation of Template quickstart as it is seen in the Demo Site. No other customization would be done.

I am confused and lost, where should i ask for clarifications?

You can drop your queries via our Ticket System. We would be happy to revert back with answers for you.

JM Single Purchases

Can I remove JoomlArt copyright?

You need subscribe Single Developer License if you wish to customize the purchased template under your own branding. The Single Personal License allows you to modify purchased item as you wish, however, all our copyright information must be kept unchanged.

Can I customize single purchased template for my clients?

Yes, with condition that you subscribe Single Developer License. You can modify our template under your own branding for unlimited clients. If you select Single Personal License, you can use the purchased item for your website on 1 domain only.

Does my single template purchase include a PSD file?

Yes. we provide full PSD source files included in the template download package.

Do I need to cancel my subscription if I have only bought a single Template License?

No. If you have only bought Single Personal License or Single Developer License, you are not a subscriber and will not need to cancel your subscription. You will have lifetime access to your purchased template and our forum.

Does my single template license ever expire?

NO. You are entitled to download and use the purchased item for lifetime.

Will I be charged every year if I buy a single theme?

No. When you purchase a single template, it is one-time fee, thus you will only be paying any extra fee later on.
Renewal fee is applicable if you subscribe a Club membership, which gives you access to all our themes.

Magento Developer Membership (JM Developer)

Can I remove JoomlArt copyright?

The copyright removal permission is granted to only Club Developer Membership. This membership package is the right choice, if you are Magento Developers, website development professionals, groups or companies developing Magento for clients.

The Club Personal Membership holders can modify purchased items as you wish, however, all our copyright information must be kept unchanged.

Can I still use the templates after my subscription has ended?

For Personal Membership, you can continue to use any of our templates on the websites that you had been using whilst being a subscriber.

For Developer Membership, you will also be allowed to continue to use your templates on websites that you created during your subscription period.

However, you are required to renew your subscription in order to continue creating new websites after the expiry of your subscription.

Can I still download the themes after my subscription has ended?

No. You will need to renew your subscription in order to download our templates again. Our system will remind you of this 7 days prior to your subscription expiry date.

Do I still get support after my subscription has ended?

You will be granted access to our technical forum and premium email support within the length of your subscription only. You need to renew your subscription when it expires in order to have access to our technical support and download area again.

Do I need to renew my club subscription?

It depends on you. Our system will automatically send you a reminder 7 days prior to the expiry of your subscription. Normally, we offer discounted renewal fee if your membership is renewed before expiry date.
