JA Side News allows an easy and elegant display of an article list (from selected Joomla or K2 categories) with meta keyword ''Featured'', images, date, readmore link, title and description. It supports Joomla content and K2 content. The module comes with powerful admin panel that includes all built-in functionality.

Easy and elegant display of article list
With the module, you will easily have an elegant display of an article list, each article can be configured to include image, title, description, etc.
Support 2 layouts
The module supports 2 layouts: Default and Side News, each layout has a totally different way to display your article list. Each layout also has a different back-end configuration.
Show or hide article image
You can configure to show or hide article image for items displayed in the module. When enabled, the module will resize article image based on selecting thumbnail mode to defined size.
Support Joomla content and K2 content
The module supports 2 content types: Joomla content or K2 content. Select one of those content types then select one or many categories that the module will display articles from.
Show or hide Featured articles
The module allows to display featured articles or not. You can also display featured articles only.
Powerful Admin panel
All the built-in functionality of the module is included in its admin panel. Each configuration field has tooltip that shows you the functionality of the field and how to use it.
