Bug on updated version of JA Multilingual ?

Hello there? Anyone else reporting issues with the updated JA Multilingual on J4?

In our case, the publishing down date is being completed with 0000-00-00 00:00:00 instead of NULL.

We are modifying the script to complete the the date correctly.

I can replicate the null start / finish publishing date but not the 404 error. I've reported to our dev team to take a look.

You can take a backup of your site and try this tweak:
1/ Remove your translated item
2/ Backup this file: root/administrator/components/com_jalang/helpers/translator/translator.php

and replace with attached file (unzip first)

3/ Run the translation again.

Is JA Multilingual works with latest version of joomla and Guru?
What is the current best solution for Multilingual site?

fitspoint - I have done much testing.

Since upgrade, it is NOT working correctly either for Joomla 4 or Joomla 5 for native com_content.

The latest version can work with Joomla 5 and it supports some extensions listed here: https://www.joomlart.com/joomla/extensions/ja-multilingual-component beside com_content.

With Guru component, you can manually download language package of the associated languages on your site: https://www.ijoomla.com/translations/guru-5-x and install into your site.

Since the upgrade to 1.2.1, JA Multilingual does NOT work with com_content neither on J4 nor J5.

Same error since I first reported the bug in December.

Upon running the extension, it leaves the published date blank and thus does not show anything in the front end.

I just ran another test on the site you have access to.

Please advise.

Thank you Saguaros but ERROR CONTINUES.

To reproduce, run JA Multilingual on any Spanish content on above test site.

Firstly, upon conclusion, translated articles are NOT checked-in.

Secondly, after checking-in the article(s), you still get a 404 error.

• To manually fix, you need to go into every translated article:

• Check the Preview of Translated Article:

• Save the Article Manually and Clear Cache:

And you fix the 404 error.

We tested the updated package on our end and did not encounter the same issue.

Could you share a backup of your site (excluding translations) so we can investigate further and identify the problem?
