Hi,
I've tryed but it seem not working.
My modules are:
- "Annunci in cima" and the copy "Annunci in cima (2)"
- "Annunci in mezzo" and the copy "Annunci in mezzo (2)"

Remember that is possible that for access my site you will need to enter .htaccess user and password two times

There is no duplicate zone for ads : http://prntscr.com/lytjcv
Each zone is used to show ad.
As i explain in previous threads. if you want to show the same ads on different positions, you need to create different zones for it and assign those ads to them.

In your post you said "To show a module on two different position you need to create two copy of the module."

So on module menu of Joomla I've duplicated "Annunci in cima" module to "Annunci in cima (2)" module and changed the position

Hi,

I created a new zone from adagency zones - "Annunci in cima 2" - with the same options like this zone - "Annunci in cima"
I assigned the new zone to this package - "Pubblicità in tutte le posizioni"
I created a new campaign - "Campagna di prova 2" - for some ads like "Campagna di prova"
and I can see the new zone with ads in this page -/index.php/articoli, for example.

Please let me know if this is not what you want.

Hi,
I can not try now but doing all those operations will not be confusing for customers that create their campaign on the frontend? they will need to "work" for creating two campaigns that is counterintuitive and also about payment? will they need to pay two campaigns?

What I want is that an Ad will be placed on many position in different template (at least one on every template) because I can have two template with a left position but on those templates the position name is different

If there is not a simple solution is it simple to change template positions names on Ja Social II?

This is how it works, in Joomla if you want to publish one module on different position
You need to make a replica of it. There is no such options as Alin shared the workflow to add a zone.

Hi,
Now I understood what you mean for replica. You mean to do all zone process twice. For module replica I've understood the duplicate module option of Joomla, but as you see is not sufficient.

For me it's a really bad news this one because it means I will have to manage campaigns by myself or to override a template to change template position names 🙁((((

Yes as each zone is contacted to ads, you need to create it again.
Or rename the module position to match them in both templates.

In Social ii template the positions are defined in the php file /tpls/blocks folder
and the name are define in templatedetail.xml file in template folder.
You can make an override of each file in /local/tpls/blocks.

I'm close to a solution. How I can rename positions like: js_side_top ? I don't find those in template layout.
If it's a problem to rename how I can move up the sidebar-1/left position on smartphones?

Js Side top is not template position, Its internal position in the Jomsocial only and could not be changed https://documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Built-in_Module_Positions#Stacked_Positions
These are defined in the each layout file inside component and will be override in updates.
