How to "video in jomsocial"

Hi,
I really do not understand why my videos files are never processed by ffmpeg.
They are sent and available on waiting... that's all.
here is my config php.ini

Safe-mode : OFF
Open_basedire : none
ffmpeg : /usr/local/bin/ffmpeg
cron exectued every hours :

Could you help me please ?

Video process on the server, if FFMPEG is installed on your server.
Kindly ask the hosting provider the check the FFMPEG version and absolute path installed on your server.
/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg
When you upload the video on site they will be converted by FFMPEG and after conversation cron job will run to show them on site.
If FFMPEG not installed or working on site Cronjob will run but video would not be converted.

I've installed ffmpeg myself

[root@205 ~]# cd /usr/local/bin
[root@205 bin]# ls
ffmpeg  ffprobe  ffserver

ffmpeg is in this path

The FFMPEG installed by you does not seems installed fine and working as its not converting the videos.
Kindly use FFMPEG.ORG site : http://ffmpeg.org to get the latest version and install it.
Jomsocial support ffmpeg.org.
Once you install it upload a file if FFMPEG is working it will convert the video and make original and converted video in /video folder.

Ok i've installed the latest version of FFMPEG in /usr/local/bin
But.... In don't understand how it work on jomsocial because my video is still waiting ... 🙁

franckyky Hi. I've just checked an installation and in /bin folder You only have a binaries for this library. Please ask Your hosting provider to install it for You.

my provider will not install me anything. I have a VPS on which I'm supposed to install everything myself. I do not understand what is wrong with this directory? Could you tell me more?

Installation of FFMPEG is not just moving the file to server.
It needs proper installation to run it as well. Currently it does not seems working, I suggest you to ask the hosting provider to check and fix it, as its not sure what issue is from the server if you are installing it in correct way. Once it install you need to add the absolute path in video settings :http://prntscr.com/kklhkt
To test is upload a video and run cron, if there is no error for video conversation it means its working.
